Every so often (about once a year), I feel the urge to redesign my personal website, both to better reflect my current state as a designer and as a personal challenge. Here's how it's evolved over the years!
For this version I wanted a cleaner landing page, so I pushed my portfolio below the fold. I also added hero images to my projects.
This is where I first adopted the edge-to-edge grid design to show my work. The "delight" factor was the text transition when clicked.
Here I started more prominently featuring my work. The design portfolio is the landing page, where before it was behind a click.
The first iteration of my site saw my work broken into Visual and Interaction design, with a "Miscellaneous" page for art and other projects.
